What its all about?
As a true-to-color family and wedding photographer based in Northern Utah—serving Salt Lake City, Layton, Ogden, and Trapper’s Loop—I’ve learned that what you wear can truly elevate how your photos feel. That’s why I started my new Instagram series: "Outfits I’d Love to Shoot You In" and "How I’d Style That Shoot." Each week, I’ll share outfit inspiration paired with shoot styling ideas I’d love to bring to life—from cozy family sessions in the mountains to romantic bridals in golden-hour fields. These aren’t just style ideas—they’re real concepts I’d be excited to create with you.
The best part? I already do this for all my clients—and I absolutely love it. Whether it’s a family session new Layton or a bridal shoot near Salt Lake City, I always recommend starting with either a color palette or mom’s outfit first. From there, we build the rest of the looks to match that vibe. I’ll have you go through your closet first to find pieces that work (because sometimes the best outfits are already in your home). Then, I create a custom Canva outfit guide for your session that includes everyone's outfits in one visual—making it easy to see what works and what’s missing. We can fill in the gaps with a few new pieces or go all-in on a fresh look—it’s totally up to you.
This kind of thoughtful styling is included with every session you book—whether it’s engagement photos, bridals, or full family galleries. I want your images to look and feel like you, but elevated in a way that photographs beautifully and fits the full vision.
